In August 2022, the British Independent Film Awards announced a partnership with FILMD to support emerging filmmakers through the BIFA Springboard programme.
BIFA selected FILMD as its platform partner for the Springboard programme - a talent development initiative designed to support new and emerging filmmakers breaking into the industry.
Through this collaboration, FILMD hosts the digital home for Springboard cohorts, providing participants with a dedicated space to connect, learn, and grow alongside their peers and industry mentors.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to opening doors for underrepresented voices and ensuring that the next generation of British filmmakers have the tools and community they need to succeed.
